"Where “FUN” is Always Being Created"
In 1968, farmland that was owned by the Kramer Family was purchased by a group of investors for the purpose of building a golf course. These investors hired well-known golf course architect Larry Pachard to design an 18 Hole Championship Golf Course. In 1970, the first 9 holes were opened for play and the second nine was completed the following year. Soon after, Muskego Lakes 20,000 square foot clubhouse was opened to run all golf operations, food & beverage service, and to host parties of up to 500 guests.
In 1974, Scott Krause purchased Muskego Lakes and added 3000 trees, 41 sand traps, and innumerable cosmetic enhancements to the course. In 1999, sons Mark, Steve & Chris took over ownership & operations, redesigning and remodeling the course & facility in many ways...in efforts to compete with high-end golf courses and/or banquet facilities...but keeping prices affordable.
Today, Muskego Lakes Country Club is one of the oldest businesses in the area, being in existence for over 45 years. With a commitment to the service & quality our patrons expect, we invite you and your family & friends to be part of something special for many years to come.
